Highland Park Village was thrilled to welcome Equest to our center courtyard last week on North Texas Giving Day. From 6am-midnight last Thursday, any donation of at least $25 to the non-profit of choice was  partially matched with bonus funds through the Communities Foundation of Texas.

We hosted a meet and greet with a few of the Equest Mini Ambassadors. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the non-profit and the people who spend and donate their time there. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to support this event and Equest.

Founded in 1981, Equest is the first and largest full-service therapeutic riding program in Texas. Equest serves children, adults and veterans with all types of physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities.  Equest’s mission: To enhance the quality of life for children and adults with diverse needs using horses to bring hope and healing through equine assisted activities and therapies.
