We’re so excited about the recent opening of Blushington in Dallas at The Shops of Highland Park- the second location for the Hollywood based beauty boutique.  Enjoy makeup applications (after reviewing a glamorous lookbook of signature styles) by professional artists in a chic and glamorous setting.  Founder Stephi Maron launched the company after realizing there wasn’t a convenient place to have her makeup professionally done at an affordable price.

A full face for makeup is just $40 and you may select the “just eyes” option as well. Blushington also offers lash application, waxing, and tweezing too.   You can also schedule professional makeup classes and private parties.  And, ready for your holiday wish list, Blushington offers gift cards as well!

Santa Claus Is Coming To Highland Park Village

Yes, it’s true - Santa Claus is coming to Highland Park Village!  Don’t miss Santa’s visit this Tuesday, December 18th!  You and your children are invited to visit with him.  The line and registration will begin at the base of the clock tower in the center of Highland Park Village.  Photographs will be shot and printed onsite by Holt Haynsworth of Haynsworth Photography.  Enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, and bundles of holiday cheer!

After strolling around Highland Park Village and stopping by some of their favorite stores like Escada, Lela Rose, Robert Talbott, Anne Fontaine, DVF, and Trina Turk, our Holiday Style Bloggers returned to The Community Lounge at Highland Park Village for a cocktail reception.  Guests enjoyed bubbly and bites catered by Cafe Pacific.  It was certainly a night to remember and the perfect toast to celebrate the busy holiday shopping season to come and all of the exciting happenings at Highland Park Village in 2013!

Lela Rose Pre-Fall 2013

Heightening our Lela Rose obsession is the pre-fall 2013 collection.  We loved viewing these images in rich mustard hues, cobalt blues, and charcoals - in the most beautiful and artistically inspired prints. There’s a gorgeous mix of color play that comprises the unique array of graphics in this collection.

Lela Rose pre-fall 2013 was inspired by the Abstract expressionist artist Clyfford Still.  His use of jagged edges and large expanses of color inspired many of the prints and fabrics, as well as the dripped paint embroideries.  We can’t wait to shop these styles in our boutique.
