The perfect blend of jewelry, clothing, accessories and home décor occupy MARKET's space.

The perfect blend of jewelry, clothing, accessories and home décor occupy MARKET’s carefully curated space.

Situated right below the Village Barbershop and next to the soon-to-open Honor Bar sits MARKET, the chic, local boutique from Highland Park Village co-owner Elisa Summers.

Inside you’ll find an oasis filled with the very best offerings of clothing, accessories, jewelry, home decor and gifts for the stylish Dallas woman. Summers created the newly opened concept with the help of LeeAnn Sauter, who is known for her work creating luxury boutiques at five-star hotels around the globe. The space is well decorated and welcoming, with an eclectic mix of comfy seating and floral papered walls that make it feel as if you’re shopping a well-traveled friend’s personal collections instead of a typical retail store.

The assortment in MARKET is heavily influenced by the travels, style and taste of Summers and Sauter. A mix of international and local goods perfect for evenings out, days on faraway beaches or easy pieces for day-to-day life fill the fixtures. Shop everything from fine jewelry by Hoorsenbuhs,  great jeans by Baldwin Denim and beautiful dresses by Prabal Gurung. There’s even a display dedicated to the sweets from gourmet candy line Sugarfina, for that little jolt of shopping energy.

In the six months since MARKET first opened, it’s quickly becoming known for its popular trunk shows, pop-up shops and in-store events. Since opening, the boutique has welcomed more than 15 designers and tastemakers, including Tory Burch and her athleisure wear line - Tory Sport, Texas based jewelry designer Nak Armstrong and interior designer and author Jeffrey Marks.

Beginning Tuesday, May 3, through Tuesday, June 7, MARKET will feature a pop-up shop for Draper James, the Nashville-based lifestyle boutique by actress Reese Witherspoon, that plans to open its own storefront within the Village later this fall.

MARKET puts their busy event calendar to use and seizes opportunities to give. Most recently, in honor of Earth Day, the store partnered with jewelry designer and animal lover, Kimberly McDonald, to donate a percentage of her line’s sales to PAWS, the Performing Animals Welfare Society.

For information on upcoming trunk shows and events, sign up for MARKET’s email list at markethighlandpark.com or stop by the store Monday - Saturday between 10am and 6pm or Sundays between 12pm and 5pm.
