Summer Sundays Recap!
Sunday was the finale of our inaugural Summer Sunday concert series, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to say goodbye to summer! Between good tunes, great company, and free gelato, it was the ideal way to kick off a new school year.
Local bands MAXX! Band Dallas, Mockingbyrd Station, Light Horse Harry, and Seven45 played outdoor concerts on consecutive Sunday afternoons throughout July and August. Locals and visitors gathered to hear original and cover songs, and scoops of Paciugo gelato offered respite from the summer heat. Between brunch-goers taking in the tunes from the porch of Bistro 31, and pint-size attendees dancing to each song, a good time was had by all who attended.

Summer Sundays: Light Horse Harry
We’re so excited to invite Light Horse Harry to play this Sunday for #SummerSundays at Highland Park Village! We hope you can mark your calendar to enjoy live music with us this weekend by the Highland Park Village Clock Tower. The Dallas based band, Light Horse Harry, describes themselves as this: “If Rock & Roll and Spaghetti Westerns made sweet gum drop candy love, then we would be the metaphorical child.” A mix of Blues, Folk, Americana, and Rock, you can hear their full digital album here.

Change Coming to Marquee Grill - Marquee Grill and Toko V
It’s true… “Change is Coming to Marquee Grill” and we can’t wait to take a bite of it! This fall, according to NBC DFW, “Marquee Grill will be more casual than before featuring modern but simple cuisine. Summer Sundays: MAXX Band!
MAXX Band is a Dallas based cover band who will be playing at our first Summer Sunday event this weekend at Highland Park Village. The MAXX experience starts with a professional sound system like no other. They will perform near the Clock Tower in early afternoon. We will have three more performances after this weekend, which will be also held on these following Sundays. July 28th, August 4th and August 11th. Summer Sundays will be a family and pet friendly event. We will treat our guests to one complimentary scoop of Paciugo’s gelato, while they enjoy the live musical performance. Highland Park Village water bottles will be available throughout the village, while our guests shop. We will also have a water bowls and biscuits available for pets.

Summer Sundays!
Highland Park Village is seeking local, amateur musical acts to perform at the inaugural season of the shopping center’s Summer Sundays series. On select Sundays, the winning groups will perform afternoon concerts in the Center Court of Highland Park Village, just below the Clock Tower.
Groups should submit videos to concierge@hpvillage.com for consideration. The deadline for submitted videos is June 14th! We look forward to you joining us for #SummerSundays.
